Deep down in dark Earth, she begins to gather nourishment from what has been decaying. Who is Brigid?
 She is the embodiment of both bridge and boundary — a threshold between the darkness of winter and the incoming light of spring. She is an alchemist, a poet, a healer, a fierce Goddess and a nurturing mother. She is not Spring itself, but the invocation of Spring. 
 Brigid is a creatrix, the lantern who carries the flame of life and hope from death and darkness. I’m Orlaith and I will be hosting this event. I’ve Loved Brigid since before I knew her as a Goddess. I grew up in a part of Ireland where her legend walked, in a place rich with her story and energy. I was devoted to her before I knew what devotion was! I’m honoured to share with you some of the ways I honour, connect with, and embody the spirit of Brigid, Goddess of ancient Ireland. In this sacred space we will learn about the Brigid of pre-Christian Ireland, her symbols, stories, and magic. We will invite her through ritual, meet her energy in meditation, and explore invocation practices in preparation for the festival of Imbolg
